Are you getting warm?

Today I’m excited to share with you some of my favourite ways to prepare for hip work and shimmies in dance.

  1. Get the spine moving in all 3 planes: Cat/Cow or Spine Undulations, Twists, Side Bends (get a FREE short Spine Mobility Sequence here.)

  2. Choose a Muscle Energy Technique (MET) to release muscles around the pelvis: WTF is a Muscle Energy technique anyway? Check it out here!

  3. Add some strength work to target the hips and legs: Squats, Lunges and Side Lunges - oh my!

  4. Activate the core to provide stability in motion: I love Deadbugs as they are safe for your spine whilst allowing movement
